An emergency management planner, Scott Reiten brings knowledge of emergency management, emergency medical services, exercise development and strategic planning to Region Nine Development Commission. In the 16 counties of Southeast Minnesota, Reiten works on regional projects to help county and city emergency managers to prepare, from response to recovery, for a disastrous event that threatens lives, property, infrastructure and the economic vitality of a region.
