MAGC membership is open to all people who work in:
  • Federal, state, regional, county, and municipal government and agencies
  • Other local government units (watershed or conservation districts, port authorities, airport commissions, etc.)
  • School districts
  • Colleges and universities
  • Nonprofits and associations
  • Businesses or agencies serving the above organizations

Membership Types

 
All MAGC membership types receive full membership benefits, including free or discounted admission to MAGC events, discounted entry fees for the Northern Lights Awards contest, and more! Choose the membership level that best fits the structure of your role and organization. 
 

Individual
Membership 

$85

This membership level is designed for individuals, usually the only communications staff member within their team, department, or organization. If you will have more than one MAGC member within your organization or department, save money with an organizational membership.

Individual membership is non-transferable.

Student
Membership 

$40

This membership level is available to individual students enrolled in Minnesota colleges and universities. Additional discounts for MAGC events may be available for student members.

Organizational
Membership 

$165+

This membership level is designed for memberships with 2 or more individuals. Each person under an organizational membership must have their own "seat" to access MAGC benefits. Organizational memberships are priced at $85 for the first seat and $80 for each additional seat (a discount of $5 per seat!)
 
MAGC membership is priced by "seat" or account. To access MAGC membership benefits, you must have an active account using your own name and email address. Account sharing is prohibited. Organizational members can reach out to our admin team to update the individual accounts associated with their membership and/or change the number of seats available.
