The Minnesota Association of Government Communicators offers an annual conference and several workshops each year.

2011

MAGC Fall Conference: Telling the Government Story

Learn new and interesting ways to tell your government story with an exciting lineup of speakers offering a variety of perspectives on storytelling.

This first luncheon workshop of the year, held at the Minnetonka Community Center, featured Paul Omodt of Padilla Speer Beardsley presenting on “The Changing Face of the Media.” His presentation was followed by a panel discussion featuring Liz Collin, WCCO-TV; David Brauer, MinnPost media columnist; and Dan Krolczyk, regional publisher for Patch.com.
